It's powered by the ultra reliable commercial grade Honda GXR120 4-stroke OHC petrol engine which uses a recoil starter that is light, smooth and starts easily every time. It's also one of the first generators in its class to meet the stringent Euro5 emissions rating - ensuring exhaust gases are reduced to a minimum.

All Honda Inverter generators are fitted with the Eco-Throttle technology, which adjusts the engine speed to match the power demand. This saves you fuel, extends the engines life and gives a quieter operation. The Honda 4-stroke engine is remarkably fuel efficient and reliable, which means fewer fill-ups and reduced maintenance costs. The engine also benefits from Oil-Alert technology which automatically switches off the ignition if the oil drops below a safe level.

A new addition to this Honda model is the "Fuel Valve Shutoff Position" this feature cuts the fuel to the engine which allows you to burn off the remaining fuel in the carburettor.
